Hey guys,
I am a sophomore at a regional target in California.
I have a business internship at a top defense/aerospace contractor this summer.
It is all Excel work, but unfortunately it's not finance related. Rather, I'd be doing financial planning (no analysis), rates and budgets, and cost estimating and scheduling.
I applied to a ton of F500 CF internships, but I'm guessing my lack of finance classes (transferred here from a non-target) didn't help, even though I had a 3.5 when transferring.
Do you guys think that having the name brand on my resume will help in getting SA interviews next summer, even though it's not corporate finance as is recommended? I'm also doing a remote PE internship with meaningful work if it makes a difference.
Thanks
