ER Professionals,
I just recently landed an ER intern position with a solid MM bank. I'm a recent graduate (finance major) and CFA II candidate with no finance experience. I can't tell you how excited I am about the position. I'm ready to do whatever it takes to turn it into a FT offer in a few months time.
I am really hoping to catch the attention of some experienced ER associates/analysts for some advice/tips on how to hit ground running. What will they expect me to deliver in that time period? What are some things you wish someone had have told you before your first day on the job? Describe the ideal associate, or the associate from a bad dream. Any interesting anecdotes or information about your early careers is welcome.
