I'll try to keep this brief since a lot of my posts end up as massive walls of text.
Interviewed with a branch of a boutique (maybe could qualify as MM, not really sure) in the spring (for a summer gig) that specializes in "high yield" bonds for education places. Located about 30 minutes from my college (non-target) in an affluent suburb (City is like top 20 for population but it has a very small finance community).
Work didn't seem that interesting/meaningful since it seemed like they didn't have too much dealflow/they rarely see clients (guy interviewed me in a nice pair of jeans!). A lot of it would probably be busy/bitch work but he kind of implied if I bug him enough I could probably help him/do some stuff on my own that is more meaningful.
