I'm a sophomore majoring in Finance at a non-target in the southeast interested in investment banking and I've been constantly searching for an internship for this summer. I've been reaching out (via cold-email) to many small boutiques in my state but many of them respond saying they are either too small and don't have internship programs, or that they have already finished hiring for the summer. Today, I just got a response from a small boutique Managing Partner, after asking him about potential internship opportunities at his firm and forwarding him my resume. He said that "we aren't looking to have a summer intern..we'd just be having you perform administrative/marketing list clean up. Good luck with your search."
