I'm a first year Maths student at one of JSC's target universities in the UK. Reading up on interview experiences on here, I'm fairly sure I won't get an offer if I apply for an internship for this summer. If I apply anyway just to see what the experience is like, will I be at a disadvantage if I try again next year?
They do have a specific 'Have you interviewed with Jane Street before?' field in their online application - is this purely for statistical purposes or does it put you at an advantage/disadvantage if you've interviewed unsuccessfully before?
